9.30-10.45 Session One “Women in the University –  issues and perspectives”

The panel aims to examine the status quo with regard to the major issues related to women in the university. It will point to strategies which may help to strengthen the role of women in the higher education sector and their contribution to the knowledge development in general.

12.00-13.00 Session Two "Role of women in higher education - experiences, best practices and challenges ahead"

This panel, composed of female rectors of Coimbra Group Universities will reflect upon their experiences when it comes to women in universities, especially from the position of leadership. Best practices will be shared as well as challenges that academia is facing regarding gender equality.
